If people would view him as a depth prospect rather than a former tenth overall pick, he's not an uninteresting player to monitor. He has some tools, he works hard, and it would be a great story if he found his way to the NHL, so why not just watch and hope he does? The jokes are getting tired.

In 5 years Tyler Boucher will start his construction company and some people will still think he has a shot at being a useful NHL player.
The high draft pick syndrome.
He’s a dime a dozen borderline AHL player. Time to let this one go. You could find a bunch of undrafted overagers or guys playing in europe that are way better than he is.

And he was actually pretty good before injuries ravaged him. Same with Matt Murray
Boucher has the same problem as them but couldn’t even become a good AHL player. He’s probably the worst AHL player the most talked about in history.
