watched the first two episodes of Tragically Hip`s Doc No Dress Rehearsal

They spoke about their first roadie into the USA and how they simply couldn`t gain even a quarter of support from the US markets and how they played to half empty venues

My buddies and I drove up from Ottawa to Burlington Vermont to watch one of the gigs in the early 90`s as they were getting big in Canada and was astounded at how empty it was, had the pleasure of sitting with the band post show as they came out of their dressing room to hang with the 60-70 ppl in attendance for a quick drink before they hit the road, all super gracious and down to earth and they performed like they would have in front of 20,000

Such a great band

SNL started Season 50 tonight but it was almost cancelled after one episode. These 2 minutes were all anybody remembered. NBC didn't push the cancel button........

Lorne Michaels wanted to kill him but then saw the reaction of the audience........Kaufman had been ordered NOT to do this skit.

as many know, marriage is often about compromise and I did just that last night as I thought I would be less than interested in watching Nobody Wants This, has Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as it`s two main characters.

I was stunned at how much fun I found this show, only 2 episodes in but pretty solid writing and Bell always makes me laugh which she does in this so men, if you are looking at this one as simply a one trick rom/com kind of show, there`s more to it than that. Great supporting cast too, give it a try

On BritBox, we started No Offence, once we adjusted to the accents, just a great show, lots of laughs

The Devil's Hour season 1 was good.
The Outlaws first 2 seasons were good.
New Seasons out for both those shows (haven't started them yet).

Slow Horses is also a good watch.

Big Bill Burr fan.

A Masshole ambassador to the world beyond our borders.

The pride of Canton, Mass becomes an instant sensation.

Audio to begin with, and then shaky video. Burr reacts with hilarious venom after a Philadelphia audience (surprise) chases one of their own from the stage.

For those of you watching The Penguin I interviewed Clancy Brown ahead of episode 7, but we also talked about his career. (Major show spoilers for last night's episode FYI.)

Great read. Always liked Clancy Brown. Wish the series Carnivale lasted more than one season. He was great in that too.

For those that havent watched The Penguin on HBO , you are missing out. Its not a comic book show but moreso a crime show. Some great writing and acting.HBO hits it outta the park.
If Colin Ferrel doesn’t win an Emmy it will be a disgrace.

  1. Started Man on the Inside with Ted Danson, he`s great but it`s his supporting cast I love as well, only one episode in but terrific stuff
  2. Cross on Prime- fun cop/drama show so far
  3. Landman Paramount- another offering from Taylor Sheridan starring Billy Bob Thornton as a character we`ll all recognize him in, gruff, chain smoking oil patch dude. Fun start to the show
