OT: TV Movie Thread Part Iii

I'm actually replying to your previous post about your injury-filled hockey career. I always thought of you as an Orr/M. Lemieux blend/hybrid. I had a cup of coffee in an instructional baseball league. It's lower than Class A minor league baseball.

Maybe if you meant Colton and not Bobby. I was 10 years old when I first saw Slap Shot in 1977 and that became an important developmental force in my personality and hockey playing days.

I went from 0 penalty minutes through the last game of my first season to 27 PIMs in the last game. Then I think I lead my leagues in PIMs the rest of my life.

I was the #6 dman my senior year of high school. In a city of less than 1/4M people, we won the city title.

I can't believe NHL players use white stick tape. So uncool. Black is mandatory. I miss the 90s. An NHL player could elbow someone in the head & get two minutes.

Finally saw Thunderbolts today. I enjoyed it even though I'm not a really a fan of Marvel movies (although I did collect comics as a kid). Florence Pugh never fails to deliver.

I recently finally saw the Brutalist on Max. I didn't love it to be honest, but I imagine that it was better in the theater on bigger screens.

The Studio s1 is finally over. I enjoyed most of the season. Gad to see it renewed for a second season.

Alexander Skarsgard is pretty funny in Murderbot.

I enjoyed the Brutalist, then i found out it was made up.

I like Adrien Brody, he's great in everything he's in, but didn't think it was Oscar winning level.

Yeah, when it first came out, I thought it was supposed to be non-fiction.

Brody is great method actor. Nothing beats his performance in the Pianist though.
