OT: TV & Movie thread: Part III

I'm watching Mad Men...those guys are busy...drinking -smoking - carousing. I find it hard to believe they had time for work. I'm in season 2 . It is a bit different show for me unlike Ray Donavan and Landman and the Jackal of late LOL....but it is enjoyable .
I've never gotten back to that show (think I watched most of season 1). I can say that that is exactly how things were in the late 50s, early 60s. The Three Martini lunch was a common occurrence.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm trying to get through Carry-On......for some reason my attention keeps wandering......it's almost comical the way they've got poor Taron running around that terminal.
I liked Carry-On. I just kept wondering once the police and homeland knew about the threat why not shut down the whole airport and jam all cell/radio signals till the device was found?

I saw Den of Thieves 2 today. I liked it, but liked the first one better. Some logic was thrown out the door, but the leads had good chemistry. Nice to see Genny and Pietro from Gomorrah in this one.

Silo episode 9: excellent. It's been a slow burn, but we finally get some movement right before the season finale.

I like reality competition shows. Season 40 of the Challenge was pretty good. I've been enjoying the Beast Games on Amazon.

I've also been re-watching Severance to get ready for s2. Ioved s1, but I feel like I have forgotten so much of it in these 3 years.

Silo can be difficult to get through....requires a lot of patience....almost gave up but I realized there's a lot of minutiae in the show that is useful -- and that helps keep me focused so I don't miss anything.

I was thinking the same thing about Severance. Can't wait for eps to drop.

Don't know how I missed Den of Thieves -- I've liked everything Butler has done....looked the Trailer and didn't even recognize Schreiber.....thanks for the "promo".

I’m becoming a big fan of Rebecca Ferguson.
I can relate -- didn't think much of her in the first few episodes -- didn't think she was much of an actress. But as the series progressed, I began to like her more. By the end of season 1, I thought her acting was quite good.
