Time to get this thread back in action...

It's Summer but good diversion... is good diversion...

Here is My offering...

I'm a a Country boy at heart... I live in the city these days... spend my days in the country helping the farmers... go home to the City at night

I have got to say to everyone... your food doesn't come from a store... it comes from farmers...

And they are really good at what they do... and they are mostly highly evolved and very clear of mind in their purpose...

Jeremy Clarkson... he of Top Gear and Grand Tour... decides to be a farmer...

This is so cool... not just because he is a city rube... not just because he underestimates everything...

He meets the reality of trying to produce anything off the land he owns, in so called modern society...

Just remember people... you need food to live... watch this and understand the State seems to want us all to starve...

Now that I have said that... this series makes Me laugh increasingly more... pure gold... and beautiful...

The British countryside is gorgeous... and timeless... and the essence of farming is magical...

I suggest Clarkson's Farm... Amazon Prime... 3 seasons to watch... enjoy...

I recenty watch Loudermilk on Prime. I had no idea what I was getting into other than Ron Livingston (Office Space) and Will Sasso who I was surprised to like. Its not a perfect show but it’s a fairly well written comedy about a leader of an AA group and their stories.

Just finished watching the single season of Criminal Record, and would definitely recommend.

For those that enjoyed Happy Valley, this would be up your alley. Well acted with a solid story

First episonde of the new season of Mayor of Kingstown is out

I didn't know that they had even filmed it. I hadn't heard much about Jeremy Renner after the accident and didn't realize that he had made such an amazing recovery

Happy for him. He seems like one of the good guys in Hollywood

“Godzilla Minus One” on Netflix is shockingly excellent. Highly recommend, even if you only like Godzilla movies just a tiny bit. How did they make that movie for only $15M? And it won Academy Awards for special effects.

Loved it and they were talking about new episodes.

Somewhat disappointed in the 3rd season of The Bear, after 2 stellar seasons.

They get away from the simple aspects of the show that I enjoyed most; which is the evolution of Ritchie and the success of the restaurant.

There are a couple of decent episodes but not enough revolved around the restaurant daily grind and the interactions between the team, which is when the show is at its best.

I would highly recommend SHARDLAKE. We watched it on Disney+ but it shows up in a few other places.

A disabled lawyer in the time of Oliver Cromwell is sent to investigate a murder in a remote, very rich monastery. Only 4 parts but brilliantly acted and the production values are excellent.

(And if the female lead looks vaguely familiar, she's the daughter of Andy Serkis of Lord of the Rings fame.)
