Can I use Center Ice in Costa Rica?
Firstly, I think Center Ice is strictly a TV based option for out of market within the US and potentially Canada for watching on dedicated channels, not streaming.

Secondly, internationally, it looks like a no for Costa Rica and in general all of Central America unless you already have a VPN and can mask your location into one of the eligible countries.
Eligible Countries: NHL.TV

I've had it most years now since moving to Australia, but it seems to depend on your country's NHL broadcasting availability. If there is no NHL contract for broadcasting, then your country can get NHL.tv. Australia was on ESPN for a game of the week a few years ago and that prevented it from being on NHL.tv for those seasons which was demonstrably outrageous. I don't think there was a single opportunity to watch the Coyotes those seasons, and yet there was no legal option to pay for streaming.

I had a VPN two seasons ago when it was on ESPN+, but then this past season NHL.tv became available so I dropped it.

I think in your situation you might need to go with a VPN and then subscribe to either the national one or just get this new package. Maybe you can sell the game tickets or plan a trip.

it looks like the HC+ plan isn't available for the DC area, so back to espn+ or center ice i suppose. :-(

I mean, ESPN paid good money to have the out of market plan(espn+ games). I don't know why people that don't live in the market would expect to be able to pay just for the local coverage?

I just bought the UTAH HC+ subscription. How do you claim your tickets?
I'm trying to figure this out. I heard some folks who signed up for the subscription after me claim that they received an email describing a 5 day lead-time before another detailed email will be sent. I didn't receive that email, myself. Hopefully that isn't a sign that I am outside the window of availability.

Well that would be BS, because it clearly says you get 2 tickets. I do not know how they could get away with that.

NHL NETWORK blackout in Arizona....Also Scripps sports (61) is not available in Arizona.
So how are the folks in Arizona able to watch UTAH HC this season? If I purchase Center ICE will the UTAH games be available to watch in Arizona? This is a disaster for us in AZ.

Has anyone tried the streaming option yet? Hopefully it works better than the Coyotes one last year.

They make it so difficult to watch games legitimately EVERY season. I don't even try anymore.

It's the same provider (Kiswe, they still had my account). The Kings game it was a bit more polished than last year. the backwind and forward functions were actually working.

HOPEFULLY they don't start region blocking my iPad like they did with Coyotes Central last year. Their AI based troubleshooting sucked.

Interesting, what device did you watch on?

The SEG+ streaming app has worked great on my Apple TV. I almost never watch games live. It’s great to be able to zip through the commercials on the replays. Way more stable than ESPN + when doing that, at least for me. ESPN+ froze about half the time when FF-ing through commercials.

Word is Scripps 61 will be airing, they did not have the King pre-season game though.
