An iPad Air running Safari through Verizon Wireless.

Never could figure out why they suddenly region blocked me. Can tell you though it pissed me off.
They already got me on my cell phone, was able to cast to tv for Kings, but now it’s giving me nothing but messages about why it can’t perform. Chat finally got back to me and told me not to use Safari, even thoigh they recommend Safari and it worked for King game. So, I switch to chrome at their recommendation, still no worky, BUT, no issues last night, when i Downloaded app to Firestick. …. damned LG tv severely lacking app capabilities!

The SEG+ streaming app has worked great on my Apple TV. I almost never watch games live. It’s great to be able to zip through the commercials on the replays. Way more stable than ESPN + when doing that, at least for me. ESPN+ froze about half the time when FF-ing through commercials.
How are you getting through commercials and back to resumption of play? I have to guess and I hate it!

I don't have them all dialed in, but the average commercial break is nine forward taps on the (Apple TV) remote for me. So far, it's completely smooth and lands right at the resumption of the game. Intermissions are longer and in that case, I just skip approximately 19 minutes ahead; the Apple TV remote lets you pick a forward point to resume play. Same thing, totally smooth so far. Maybe it doesn't stay smooth in the future, but I'm pleased so far.

I really love that Utah is helping to lead the charge for teams to take ownership of their broadcasts. I've always been shocked that all the owners didn't just offer pennies on the dollar to Bally/Diamond/Etc to take all of their production equipment/capital and just take all the profits in for themselves.

Per Cw61 website, we will get both Vegas and Utah. I believe Vegas gets the priority if there are games on the same day.
Confirmed….

Although they need to update the description….. o_O

I picked up SEG+ UtahHC+ season package just before the Sunday game. Somethings were great, and some not so good, and I am wondering if others have also experienced these same things.

First, the good ... All last season, the Scripps broadcast carried over Cox Communications was low def and very annoying in these days of high-def everything. The UtahHC+ was definitely high def and a welcome upgrade. That said, whenever they zoomed in on a fast paced play, the edge of the players uniforms were digitizing. Not the entire screen, just the transitions from color to white at the edge of the uniforms. Anyone else notice that? It wasn't an unbearable feature, but it was a bit distracting.

The score and shot count graphic was cut off at the left side. I could not see the visiting team (UHC) score or shot count. Did others experience this? Or is it an adjustment I have to make? Given that they never presented a penalty clock, I was guessing this was just pre-season "cheap" graphics and hopefully things get better during the regular season.

Finally, probably the biggest issue ... During the 3rd period, I paused for 10-15 minutes to wash the dishes. I came back, and started watching again, and sort of forgot that I was 10-15 minutes behind. With 4 minutes left in the game, the stream shut down and said it was no longer available. I can only assume this is due to the fact that I was trying to watch 15 minutes or so after the stream had shut down. Is this typical for streamed sports broadcasts? Will I have to always have to be nearly caught up by the time the game is ending?

I believe the video stream was the Avalanches feed, the announcers were Utahs radio broadcast team.

Seems so.

Earlier in the thread I joked about how Colorado's announcers were butchering UHC player names only to find out a few minutes later it was actually the Utah guys. Saw the UHC pin on a suitcoat and realized their conversations were all about Utah. Just didn't know who they were at first.

They either just need to get warmed up or they have some work to do on player names.

That would be my understanding, but most here are FAR more tech savvy than I.
you can always change your vpn location though…. At least if the provider allows. I have one through Norton and it always dumps me over in California and I don’t think i can change it.

Are we blacked out in AZ tomorrow for the ESPN+ broadcast? Is it being televised locally?
