Still on the email list from the apartment. They sent out an email asking people to remove their rotting pumpkins from the breezeways.

Yeah, I'm not going to miss apartment living at all.

I got a birthday card from my old place. You'd think after 6 months they would have updated their system.

I have no confidence in that whatsoever.

I also do not miss the front "security" gate, the six speed bumps, Bumblebee Boy who parked next to me (car sounded like a herd of bumblebees every time he gunned it, which was every time he started the car), or Stompy McStomperson above me who made the dining room light fixture rattle every time he walked across the room.

The new place isn't perfect, but I'll take it over apartment living.

So glad I am on the 4th floor now. I try to be curteous to my neighbors below. I also like that this place has several cameras in the garage and in the elevators.

Typical New England weather. Cold one week. Warm the next. Ragweed and Pollen still here.

Flonase. Allegra. And a Hepa filter helps!


Hopefully the warmth stays away. I need a cold winter. And some damn snow here in the Boston area. It hasn't snowed good in years. (I know people hate it but I love it)

Isn't that magical? I still remember the first times my nephew & niece called me auntie. Believe me I nearly dissolved right then and there.

Having the kids in my life definitely helped me clean up my language. I can swear like a sailor but I quickly learned to watch what I said in front of them :laugh:

I always go for a week, we're doing 4-5 days of golf and then I need a few days to die by the pool.
