TSN 690 and Other Montreal Based Media (Part 10)

Good, expansive conversation about Xhekaj through the morning and, blegh, Campbell versus Gallo shows today, recognizing how his slow decision-making and limited IQ would render him the most significant liability on the ice when pressured by the Capitals' forecheck and that fans are delusional for believing that the Capitals, known for their aggression and with large, physical players throughout their lineup, would change their games in any way just because a goon like Ryan Reeves was in the lineup.

Just wish they weren't so insufferable about it, as they are in all things.

if Arbor's iq is limited WTF is wrong with Matheson ? the guy is turnover machine.i'd like to see the Arbor that first started playing for us with huge confidence,a sneaky accurate shot from the blue line and punishing net presence but smarty bonaparte prefers the shiny toys and head games...just sickening.

No, what happened was Arber flanderized himself and instead of playing effective, smart hockey, he went around chasing hits and fights and became a total liability on the ice. He didn't sort his game out in time and Struble is in his place.

These arguments would have way more weight if Arber actually played some good hockey when he had opportunities to cease his spot in the line-up. He didn't.

Matheson is an accomplished NHLer drafted in the first round. Always had the pedigree. Arber was working at Costco 4 years ago. He has a lot longer to go to become a full time NHLer rather than a fringe D.

so pedigree gives you a free pass ? don't get me wrong there's alot Mathesion can do but over using him does not help him at all in fact it's poor player management which seems to me like one of smarty's biggest problems.we'll see if he can coach his way through a single series.
