Other major sports leagues have allowed it, should the NHL?

Martin Biron was the last to wear 00 before the NHL banned it. I don’t see why it shouldn’t be brought back into circulation.

i can't stand seeing people wear that number in other sports. not for any particular reason...i just think it looks ridiculous and i'd want to see someone weld their eyes shut
 
It's redundant, and looks kinda bush-league IMO. But I wouldn't protest it.
What's redundant? 00? What about 11,22,33, etc?

I'm all for it. 0 and 00 are good goalie numbers lol
 
Sure why not, can’t believe they thought this topic was important enough to ban in the first place.

Working on the important problems I guess.
 
Ok, but what about #69? Perfectly good number, has a certain symmetry to it. But no one wears it. Can’t figure out why.
