Whatever took him out of tonight’s game better be minor. Losing one of our best trade assets they’ll for sure trade would suck.
I asked in the game thread why are they putting him in the line up knowing you are trading him.

Must not be many calls coming in, or why risk it.

the cherry on top of this shit sundae

from what i saw, he went into the corner with mccabe and got an elbow to the face
Exactly what happened

I hope he’s alright.

But yeah what a kick in the nuts to lose a game like that AND your top trade bait/chip. Hopefully nothing serious

He's obviously not having a good season and it's highly doubtful that he is impressing anybody scouting him with his play.

Nonetheless at this time of year teams are always looking for players that can stay in the lineup in the playoffs (Frederic is at least that, right? right?) and provide a little sandpaper and maybe chip in the odd goal. Imagine NJ having to sit out MacDermid, they'll want somebody with some edge when they're up against Washington (Wilson). Or Edmonton needing to face Minny. Etc.

I mean, even the likes of Maroon get traded at the deadline. Despite it being a down year for Frederic, there will probably still be a couple buyers considering him, even if they have to wait a week or two for him if he has to shake off an injury. The Bruins will need to have the attitude that getting anything for him is better than letting him walk in July for nothing. I don't think you're getting more than a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him unless it is an expanded deal.

Because the GM is still thinking playoffs

Always a GM that thinks he can fix you .Usually it's Donny 😆

The too chip is Marchand but they want to overpay him probably .

Once he stopped playing that hard nosed forechecking style of hockey, he was never the same. Not sure if he did that by himself or if the Bruins wanted him to stop.

But he played style that fit him and then stopped.
Same could be said of Carlo. Very effective when using his size and playing with snarl. Problem is he plays like that only one game in a hundred. The other 99 he’s a marshmallow p***ycat.

Haha. I swear I didn't see this story before posting. NJD and Edmonton mentioned as possible suitors. I'm gonna buy a lottery ticket.

He is now probably untradable. This opens the door for him to get nothing in return. We will see him sigh with St Louis on July 1. Next season he will score 24 goals with 147 PIMS.

How can two refs miss that? He seen Freddy coming in hard and reversed hit his elbow to his chin.

Freddy has a history with concussions, not good

It really is this simple. He lost the jam and has been trying to do it on skill alone. He isn't that guy.

I liked him so much more when he was a prick.
