I would like to see him get going. Last night was pretty typical of his game this season, though. He did have a couple of decent moments, but for the most part he is just there. He seems to just float around most shifts these days. I say seems because it's different watching on TV than at ice level and from a coach's perspective. That said, what is he actually bringing to the team on a nightly basis right now? Maybe he needs a few games off to reset. McLaughlin can go in for him. Freddy is a better player (when he's going) but McLaughlin will bring energy and effort at least.
