"I have had a discussion with Freddy's camp 100 percent,"

That was Don Sweeney on September 30. That was 78 days ago Sweeney announced that and they had already had discussions.

Anyone worried about what Frederic's ask is if they couldn't reach a deal in what is approaching 3 months?
It’s hard to worry too much when he’s clearly not the kind of player you “need” right? If the price is right and makes sense then sure pay him. If not, whatever. He’s no big loss. And if teams love the size and “toughness”, go ahead and sell.

Kreider has 2 more years after this and I’m all in

People will freak out the 1 goes but screw it

Frederic & the 2025 first are in it ~ what else you hearing ? Gotta figure Kreider waives to Boston

I do it in a second and I think it’s better then 50/50 Kreider is a Bruins

Basically 3 years of Kreider

Donny let’s go
No chance in hell I move a first round pick to add Kreider to this roster. That’s throwing good money after bad.

Keep the pick and let a new GM make it.

Sweeney negotiating in the media again ? Opening salvo?
Don Sweeney isn’t talking to the f***ing media. For the thousandth time, the Bruins only came out in the media because Swayman’s agent started spewing bullshit to the spitting chicklets clown.

Frederick’s agent is based in St. Louis. Might want to look there if you think shit is getting leaked.

I'd do this. But how would the money work? Rags would need to eat almost all of Kreider's money.

Just going off the Swayman negotiations when he floated the fake “he wants 10mil per year” to Keefe after Swayman was talking about hard feelings about arbitration. Guessing the longer if goes the more likely Neely goes off in a press conference.

Frederic and a first?

Kreider is in Trouba territory as a cap dump. He is turning 34 this season and has 11 points in 27 games.

Whoever is acquiring Kreider should be receiving compensation for taking on his contract. Not giving up a young player and a first.

Swayman and Frederic were the only two they took to arbitration. Frederic settled minutes before the hearing to get to UFA this summer. Can understand why both wouldn't be willing to play ball on their next deals.

I’m sure we will find some way to blame Frederic’s agent for info coming out that Bruins and Frederic are far apart on a deal amidst trade rumors.
It’s pretty obvious this is all coming from other teams, given that Friedman is explicitly saying so in his reporting. Theres no reason to look at the situation and think either side is going through the media (yet).

I would like Kreider, but I would hold onto the first, the only way the first gets moved is in a major trade .

Who’s the new GM ? Chara or Bergy ? Or do we go outside and go get a grizzled vet like Brian Burke.

I would love Burke. An unlit cigar and the tie dropped around neck would be fantastic

This right here. The conspiracy theory that the Bruins are suddenly running to the media is absolutely ridiculous. People are just looking for something to blame Sweeney for at this point.

If Kreider isn’t a major trade would you do it if we could get back Mitch Marner ?

Frederic & a first for Marner 75% retained

Marchand - Lindholm - Marner

Fantastic second line

Donny I’m doing your job ~ let’s go !!!

If Kakko could hit his groove at center that would be as close to a perfect deal as they could find.
Not a huge fan of his tbh. He's super slow

Just wait for the team had to cut Freddy's wifi because he was eating mcDonalds in his room playing Fortnite into the wee hours.

He’s had an injury

He doesn’t have a lot of miles

Kreider - Zacha- Pastrnak

Going to put ‘new beach chair’ on my Christmas wish list just in case happens for the parade

Donny - keep it going, Brad has minimum 2 more 60+ points after this season which runs with Kreider contract

Kreider to Bruins - let’s go !!!

My fault, Kreider would be a major trade, my concern is his age to give up a first, and I am in on getting Kreider. I should have said it in a different way.

Yup they eat 35- 50% we toss in a prospect not named Gasseau along with Frederic & a first

We probably banked some with Hampus

Kreider to Bruins makes so much sense - gotta happen

Kid lives a 10 minute ride from me and my buddy coached him as a yute and he played for a HS (Masco) as did my daughter in summer leagues

Not sure if NY ruined him but up and thru BC as nice a kid as Bergy

Donny “the Rangers implosion is a gift - get him!!!!”

Kreider -Zacha- Pastrnak = Cup

Kreider - size, speed, POWER PLAY monster

Let’s go !!!!!!

I remember what a lift Bobby Carpenter gave the Bruins when he came home.
Doesn't do much for the distant future but the immediate future would be a helluva lot more fun.

I like that line you put together, speed, size and skill, might be fun to watch. I, loved the sweeney trade for Zacha, and getting good vibes with Walstrom, and he was added without subtraction. Line # 1 Kreider-Zacha- Pasta......2nd line Marchand- Lindholm- Walstrom, I think we can live with that. Coyle on the third line makes this team deeper, and helps him with his PK, play

It's possible. But as with most such scenarios, to me that's a wasted worry, because the chances that Fred would ever have become that player with the Bruins are very low. If he does go elsewhere and excel, I would simply say well done to him. Not really a Boston issue anyway - been a long time since any player we've cast off has really stepped up with another team.

That said, of course the letting him walk for free part would be the irritant. If Sweeney doesn't see him in the Bruins' long term plans or feels he's not close on negotiating an agreeable deal for both parties, then don't hesitate, trade him. Some return value is better than none.

I'd argue that it could be sign of a Boston issue and further confirms that this management group struggles to identify, draft & develop forwards. Jake DeBrusk is on pace for 38G/63P, both of those would be career highs for him. Guys like Vatrano & Donato got moved on from early in their career and both have gone on to carve out nice careers.

IF Frederic were to go to say FLA and put it all together. You'd have to wonder why it didn't work (as well) in Boston. What was Boston asking him to do or not to do that held him back.

Don’t see the rags dealing Kreider in a deal for Frederic if at all. There’s just way to much talent on that team for them not to turn it around.

Seasons going fast but it’s way too early for them to throw in the towel. IMO if they were to make a deal it’s a bigger one with someone who brings more of an impact back than Freddy.
