And their weights?

O'Brien is listed at 213. 7 pounds less than Freddy. Jeannot is 208. Anderson is 218. Andreas Englund is 189. Trouba is 212. Goodrow is 202. Lemiux is 215, Mike Folingo is 195. Lane Pedersen is 192. Literally all the guys you mentioned as "big heavyweights" are dudes that weigh less than Freddy. And most of them by quite a lot.

While you like to make these claims, your assertations are certainly not backed up by the data.

He's a spot picker that typically goes after far smaller dudes. If he were on another team, you'd all universally loathe him for this type of bush league bullshit,
Who are the “big heavyweight” fighters in the league today? I’ll spot you the bender Rempe.

Tell me where I said Gustafsson was the aggressor, Freddy syndrome at its best.

Stanley is a punching bag, who gives a shit how many fights he has. He should have had his teeth knocked out 5 minutes after hitting Pasta in the face. But I'm sure you all are ok with that.

Stanley is what a 6-6 fighter as you say vs Pasta that is equivalent to Gustafsson toughness, yet you all want to continue to cry over what Freddy did?

Good grief what a soft fan base we've become

"What did you want him to do last night?Let the kid wack him with the stick several times?" Sounds to me like you were inferring Gustafsson was the aggressor.

Stanley hit Pasta with a body check that wasn't even a penalty. But you feel he should have had his teeth knocked because of it. How objective.

If that's what you get out of it, nothing more I will say on the subject.

The point being made about who he fights isn’t invalidated by limiting the discussion to “heavyweights” - it’s not binary, it’s a spectrum, and his opponents have sometimes been on the wrong end of that spectrum. Last night was probably the most flagrant example.

Soft to me is giving Frederic a free pass despite his shit contribution to his teams success this season. Can't get past their warm and fuzzy feelings towards anything involving body-checking totals or winning hockey fights to take an honest assessment of certain players.

You want hard. I would of benched his ass after that Gustafsson fight. But it would of never got that far as I would of benched him after his pointless penalty at the start of the game that showed he wasn't ready for a game against a team like that.
Again you have Freddy syndrome and nothing I can say will change your mind so I will move on.

He challenged Joshua last time they played Vancouver, maybe he takes the bait this weekend. He's another guy who certainly needs to get something going this season

I guess while I'm at it here, I'll add part of my view on him - it's not only (generally) offside to fight guys like last night, but I also find him someone far more willing to engage if it's him that's been wronged vs a teammate - and that, too, leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Don't see that at all. Hes pressed the issue three times this year on Tkachuck for Pasta, on Larson for for Poitras , and last night which looked like it was a statement for the team and dragged the new additions into the fight.

He asks kindly when it's someone he's afraid of. Maybe he should have cross-checked Tkachuk a few times like he did with Gustafsson to get him to drop the gloves. Better yet, he could even do what Kastelic did last night when he went after Stanley for his hit on Pastrnak. He won't though.

So wait a second. You claimed he fought heavies, I said he was a spot picker fighting middleweights, and you threw out names that you thought backed you up but when it turned out to not be true, you’re now saying there are no heavyweights in the league anymore?

I can’t even. JFC dude. Stop changing horses midstream, bruh.

I’ve answered this already.

You are putting all the top fighters into a lower class. Who are the heavyweights?
