swedish forwards are all 60+ pointers who works hard, its a good group we have
Canada, Finland, Usa and Russia
Yeah true. Even now Sweden has actually ok offence but its still far from can, fin, usa, rus because you don’t have any offensive thread or power there. But with a good team spirit and solid 2 way game you can still beat those teams for sure.
Sweden's top 12 forwards =315 points
Russia's top 12 forwards = 310 points
Finland's top 12 forwards = 285 points
I'm guessing you're Finnish, lol.
So it's based on points onlyYou guys don't have any star offensive player. Maybe Peterson some day...
Well, your claim was than swedish offense is pretty ****. You can't compare TOP 3 and then say definately who is better. Swedish TOP 12 has vastly outscored finnish TOP 12. It's a fact. At best you can say, that Finland has more stars and is more top heavy. So it's based on points onlyYou guys don't have any star offensive player. Maybe Peterson some day...
Russia is also more top heavy.Well, your claim was than swedish offense is pretty ****. You can't compare TOP 3 and then say definately who is better. Swedish TOP 12 has vastly outscored finnish TOP 12. It's a fact. At best you can say, that Finland has more stars and is more top heavy.
Yup, he is. You should see all of his Rantaten>McDavid hot takes.Sweden's top 12 forwards =315 points
Russia's top 12 forwards = 310 points
Finland's top 12 forwards = 285 points
I'm guessing you're Finnish, lol.
Defense I have Sweden ahead of Canada.Sweden's offense isn't as top-heavy as Finland and Russia, so has better overall depth. And the defense is obviously way out of their league.
Still well below Canada though![]()

You've never made a typo before? It is Rantanen not Rantaten
Same that I would say McKavid lol
You've never made a typo before?

Yeah many times but the same of the player should be right
So it's based on points onlyYou guys don't have any star offensive player. Maybe Peterson some day...
Stop arguing. Sweden has more depth, Finland has better top 6.
I think the Finns Top 6 here are better. And don t forget they catch up on D-Men(Ristolainen,Heiskanen,Jokiharju etc). Very good development!I would go with Sweden and Finland pretty tied at top 6 also.
Sweden top 6:
Forsberg - Bäckström - Nylander
Pettersson - W. Karlsson - Rakell/Lindholm/Arvidsson/Zibanejad whoever...
Finland top 6:
Rantanen - Barkov - Laine
Granlund - Aho - Tereväinen
You can go with either of them but i do not think that Finlands top 6 is clearly better the swedish one.
I agree that they have a better top 6, but in no way are they catching up on dmen, especially with that list. Only dman I see out of those being able to crack a Swedish best-on-best roster in 5 years is Heiskanen. Which you could say is catching up I guess.I think the Finns Top 6 here are better. Heiskanen, Jokiharju, Ristolainen in five years.I agree that they have a better top 6, but in no way are they catching up on dmen, especially with that list. That's a big no from me dawg. Neither Risto nor Joki will crack a best-on-best Team Sweden roster in 5 years. It's kind of ridiculous to imply otherwise right now. I mean there's a good chance in 5 years the Swedish d-core is even stronger than now... So no.Heiskanen, Jokiharju, Ristolainen in five years.
I doubt it. No one is at the level of Hedman, Karlsson and OEL besides Dahlin. They will still have the best defense though. That's a big no from me dawg. In 5 years Sweden d-core could be Dahlin, Hedman, Karlsson, Brännström, OEL, Lindholm, and that's not accounting for any other good prospects coming up. Risto and Joki isn't cracking that roster, heck, they might not even be able to crack the Swedish b-team. Especially Risto.
