Bratt & Nilsson are wildcards. Bratt has been good the 7 games he has played this year(5pts in 7, and he has 61.8% d zone starts.), Nilsson was great for the Nucks and then got injured, question is if he'll keep that form after being out.

Sweden almost never had any good snipers, ony one got a 50g season ( Hakan Loob). But we have a lot of 20-30+ twoway players. So if offence is snipers then yes other teams has always been better. But as a team (the Swedish d brings offence) they could still beat the best / and Finland(hehe just kidding, Finland scares me).

Yeah true. Even now Sweden has actually ok offence but its still far from can, fin, usa, rus because you don’t have any offensive thread or power there. But with a good team spirit and solid 2 way game you can still beat those teams for sure.

We miss a Sundin and Forsberg (the first one) , but even when we had those players the other teams had better snipers.
The Swedish model is about having the puck and never give it away, thats hard against the best teams. Canada and Russia is usually hardest for us to beat. Against Finland its 50/50 but Finland is a lot better against Russia then Sweden is. Dont know why.

Haha true. And yeah I don’t know what it is but Finland usually always win against Russia. Maybe because of the history and some winter war spirit. Sweden has always been much harder because we think they are better at everything and always so lucky neighbours but thats the old generation i think. Now its pretty even. And if its a one game everything can happen.

Finland no. If Sweden and Finland were the same country how many finns would be on the team? Laine, Barkov, Rantanen, Aho, Mik.Granlund. Besides, Team Sweden has definately better depth.

Let's compare your roster to kev's security's for example.

Then there are Hornqvist, Kempe, Janmark, Nyquist, Jarnkrok, Johansson, Berglund, Lindblom, Bratt, Rask, Silfverberg, Hagelin

So, if Sweden's offense is pretty ****, then what is Finland's offense?

Russia has a nod, but is very top heavy and winger heavy. Their centers are worse than swedish ones, Kuz=Backstrom, Malkin>Pettersson, Datsyuk<W.Karlsson, Anisimov<Backlund. And depth is lacking again.

USA has upper hand in offense, but it's not of cosmic level at all, roughly same class, just a little advantage individually.

So, swedish offense is on par with Russia, Finland, USA and is definately not pretty ****.
