Asked if Canes would televise the rookie-games, after that Florida announced that they would do that. I hope they get it to work somehow!

Do you guys get this broadcast in the US? I think there is little chance it'll be on any channel here, but then again, never know.

You should be able to stream them directly from detroitredwings.com. On Twitter the Red Wings confirmed that all games will be streamed and there aren't any country restrictions.

I was wondering what the schedule for your prospects was re training camp and, specifically, Kuokkanen. I'm just asking because I'm a fan of his OHL team (London Knights). The team's season starts next Wednesday and the second game is next Friday - any chance he's back for either of those games?

BTW - he was easily the best player at the Knights training camp...and he easily outplayed some of the other U20 and U19 players on the team, including the drafted players. I realize that's not totally 'real life', insofar as players who previously played on the team don't play their hardest at camp - but every who watched him was incredibly impressed and the initial reaction was he could be one of the best players on the team this upcoming season.

Hate to say it but there's honestly no telling with how screwed up the World Cup has schedules right now. Usually a good bit of the prospects are sent back after the first pre-season game or two, but in prior years those games were almost a full week earlier (21st instead of 26th)

The Traverse City Tournament runs through the 20th and Kuokkanen has been invited to the Canes training camp (I think) which starts on the 23rd, it seems unlikely he'll be in London on the 21st (Wed) or 23rd (Fri) for either of those games, right?

Two interesting line ups were talked about on the Canes website (Ulf talking about the team):

Hudson Elynuik/Nic Roy/Julien Gauthier was one construction (a line of 6'5", 6'4", 6'4")

and another mentioned was:

Tolchinsky/Wallmark/Zykov which feels like a super skilled group.

The defensive pairings with the 1st line had Fleury and McKeown together and Wesley and Bean together.

Can't wait to see these guys go this afternoon.

Some impressive possession for Roy's line 5 minutes into the game. Flat-out wore the Rangers out.
