Well, it sounds like a great start for Rychel (1-3-4), Bjorkstrand (1-1-2), Dano (2-1-3). I would be interested in hearing how it actually played out.

Read many reports from the game. Clearly states that wennberg, dano have not adjusted to the style of North American hockey. Didn't finish their checks, need to play more zone defense, out matched by bigger defenseman.
The good things I heard is that their passing was excellent, their moves and scoring chances were also above expectations. So it was a good first game but they still need to adjust.

I am not going to read to much into performances in the first game of the tourney. All these players are knocking the summer rust off. Will be more interested in the reports at tourneys end, after all games have been played.

But, thanks for the summary of those reports. At least gives us the ability to watch for improvements or set-backs.

wouldn't go that far...he still has a ways to go...will be interesting to see him at camp next week...

as far as practice this morning...Wennberg is just incredible...couple of cheeky passes and one score on dansk where you swore he was passing and he just slipped it 5 hole through...his vision is incredible...

also, quennville has the ability to rip it when he gets ahold of it...and has pinpoint accuracy...

I think Dansk will be starting tonight vs Det...
