GDT: Traverse City 2019 Tournament Thread

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Probably was him. I saw him try to stickhandle his way through three guys on left wing on a couple of occasions.
 
How much are tickets to the games, out of curiosity?
 
Kravy isn’t used to junior hockey, think he is trying to do too much. Think he will play with more judgement in pre-season.

I'd like to see Kravtsov attack a little more with the puck. Slowed up at the blue line a number of times looking for a play. That'll get better with experience for sure.

Robertson just looks like the kind of player who could carve out a really long NHL career. Size, mobility, poise with the puck, and solid against the rush. Chases a bit in his own end but takes good lines to the boards to cut off the puck carrier. Didn't get an assist on the Henriksson goal but he had the puck at the blue line, found a seam, and was able to get the puck to the net with pressure bearing down on him. Rangers won the puck off the resulting play and scored.

Henriksson is very slippery in traffic. Great on his edges and battles well. He stood out in a positive way even outside of the goal.

Kravstov is being too fancy. He'll learn. He may need time to develop physically and start in Hartford.

Robertson and Fox have worked well together.

Agreed. I also feel like he knows he's the best forward out there and all eyes are on him. He wants to impress but he might be trying a bit too much. Once preseason starts he'll be alright.
