hopefully given the lack of visceral reaction on ice, maybe it's not that bad of a fracture

still a bummer for his development either way, thankfully he's young, a month or two for a (barely) 19 year old isn't a dagger by any means
 
Matt Greene once was week to week for the whole season.

Well, yeah, but wasn't it a back or shoulder surgery recovery, for a mid-30s player?

I get preparing for the worst, but I don't think this is apt. Unless there was another injury I forgot?
 
After Thanksgiving “break” hopefully the timeline for now?

Which would be ~19 games
 
I am watching the Dodgers and too lazy to read the thread.

As far as a timeline. A broken bone is generally 6 weeks in a cast, right?

Then probably 2+ weeks of pt and conditioning. Then the AHL , assumably.

So 8-10 weeks?

Best case: Mid Dec
Worse case: Feb

That's how I see it. I hope sooner obviously. But they ain't rushing him at his age with his potential.

That's what most seem to be guessing as a reasonable middle-ground estimate.
