Guessing Maatta may be on the IR, so Clague will probably hang around for a bit.sayonara clague
That isn't an endorsement, mind you.

Looks like the Kings are attempting to kill Martinez.
Baffles me that Blake extended AA with Tkachev sitting & waiting for a roster spot, the Ruskie is money with and without the puck.
I can’t imagine that Andreas is slated for anything more than a trip on the waiver wire & a bus ride to Ontario.

Love what kopitar brown and doughty have done but i am ready for this to be byfields team by next season
Plus AA is still better than Wagner. Wagner would be waived first.Remember, AA was signed before Tkachev had even stepped on the ice for the Kings. They had no idea how he was going to work out, in hindsight it's easy.
I'm sure they will explore trade options before they go the waiver route with AA or any other player.

Remember when Amadio kept on getting 2nd unit powerplay time. I blame Todd. This would be to obvious and Todd will keep Brown on the first line.
Well, to be fair, it's never a guarantee that a guy coming across the pond will actually produce. We've seen guys coming in much higher touted and do nothing. And Tkachev hasn't actually done anything yet either so....
The issue for me is the money. Resign him for insurance sure, but at $2.7 mill a month or so into FA when his numbers are nearly identical (not counting +/-) to the year before and it only took $1 mill to sign him then? What leverage did he have for $1.7 mill raise?
