Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. McElhinney/Dubnyk unsigned. Wouldn’t mind either one as 3G. Don’t really trust Huska/Wall enough to step up if Shesty/Georgiev get injured. If Shesty gets hurt and we run Georgiev/Huska for a long period we’re screwed. McBackup is a good locker room guy and he’s someone that would be okay with playing in Hartford and getting a few NHL games if need be. Dubnyk is likely looking for a backup position somewhere so he’d be more unlikely
Edit- Vatanen is another one we should bring in on a PTO. He’s bad now but not too long ago he was a decent top 4 guy. Finnish vet for Kakko as well, and insurance just in case Nils doesn’t impress in pre-season and looks like he may need AHL time
Edit #2- I forgot about Kinkaid, exactly what I was describing

Kinkaid is a great locker room guy too, and I think we’d be in a good spot if there’s something like a goalie taxi squad as either Friedman or Seravalli alluded to on a recent podcast. A 50/50 share for Huska/Wall would be good for both of them in Hartford
