Lilly put on 11 pounds to 201. That should help, particularly given how much of a gym rat he is. Timmins gained some useful weight as well.

Dewar up from 176 to 192 is pretty crazy. Hopefully the right kind of weight.
Grebenkin is up 18lbs to 210... he could be a bit of a beast at that weight.

Others have mentioned Knies at 227... that's pretty big.
Holmberg up 13 pounds to 201.

227 at 6’4 isn’t that bad, especially since Knies probably has a good BMI, he looks jacked

11 million aside, 3rd line centre is the perfect place for JT at this stage of his career……..

Well, if it makes if it makes it easier to swallow, he's only getting $7,950,000 this year.

I'd be fine if they went with 3 lines and 2 specialists. Scrap the 4th. line, all the players want more ice time anyway. Eliminate the 8-9 minute a game line.

Matthews, Nylander, Tavares as their 3 centers, and one PK specialists center who gets some shifts here and there throughout the game.

Grebenkin looks to have filled out, for his height.

Some of the other weight gains? Some good some questionable.

For Voit to have actually lost weight…makes you wonder how serious he takes this.

The guy had a separated shoulder and a major surgery that had him sidelined for the entire year, what do you expect? If you have a separated shoulder you can’t lift. Only thing you can do pretty much is cardio.

In his rookie camp interview he said he just finished rehab and has only recently been clear for full activities

We've tried this experiment with Nylander at centre before, and he is much more effective as a winger.

This feels like a waste of time.

Have we? He played one game in a preseason game at center, that’s hardly trying.

155 is light enough that at that age you should be putting on a few lbs naturally anyway, just from eating good full foods. He's not in danger of getting fat.

Hockey's Mecca
Nylander with Domi on his line was not surprising to me at all once I found out Berube is starting with Matthews and Marner together again. Called it a week ago.
