It’s a combination of games played, age and seasons that determine things, Björnfot played before them in terms of seasons (not sure if he’s hit the game threshold) so that’ll be why.

Sure.

They are going to go with 11 forwards and 7 defensemen until Kaliyev is back. Grundstrom gets the bump up.

One thing to keep in mind about Spence and Laf, is that they have slightly lower cap hits than Clarke and Kaliyev.

LA's cap hit is about 62K lower with Spence+Laf than with Clarke+Kaliyev in the lineup.

Might sound like a small thing, but every little bit helps.

I will never forget how some here were convinced that the Canadian hockey media were participating in some conspiracy to trick Blake into taking Stutzle so Byfield would go to Ottawa. The way people talked about Stutzle at the time was just so odd, I could not figure out why so many people hated him before the draft had even happened.
