I hope they trade him too, so people can stop fantasizing about him on these boards.
That wouldn't help, every time he got a point there would be a "See, we should have played him!" thread.

Torts says he can't injure guys in camp with his normal routine, which starts with two days of hard skating, no pucks. Not this year.

Mats Zuccarello, playing for Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the KHL, remains on the Rangers’ reserve list and would be eligible to play for the Blueshirts this season — without clearing waivers — if he were to sign with the club following the end of his season in Europe. That represents a change in the CBA.
Similarly, management will keep a keen eye on a pair of 21-year-old forwards skating in the Swedish league — Jesper Fast of HV 71, and Oscar Lindberg of Skelleftea — for possible late-season NHL duty.
“I don’t know if it’s a good rule or not,†Sather said. “But we’ll sure take advantage of it if it makes us better.â€

Pat Leonard @NYDNRangers
Torts compliments Gaborik, says he's completely changed. Can't keep him off ice now; was like "pulling teeth" sometimes b4 to get him on ice

Can you link me to this tweet? I can't find it..
So either Bickel or Gilroy will be playing forward on opening night. Interesting.
I'd like Bickel in the lineup against Boston tbh. Haley, Rupp, Bickel...
Not saying it's needed, but it's appropriate for that kind of team.
I'm sick of this approach. If the Bruins want to goon it up, let them goon it up. They'll end up beating themselves if that's the way they want to play.
The new practice jerseys look infinitely better than those cartoony liberty jerseys.
Don't know if Zuc would want to come back.
I'm more curious on Fasth/Lindberg if they will come over after the SEL season is over and at the very least get some AHL experience since they're both under contract anyway. That could show how far along they could really be.

Something that has to be considered is that Bickel has most likely improved over the offseason. He is still young

One thing not mentioned so far with Zucc, Fasth and Lindberg is that their respective national team got the first shot at them after any PO in Europe.
It's up to the national team coach in Norway if Zucc can go to NY, and to MÃ¥rts in Sweden if Fasth and Lindberg can go.
really doesn't matter either way but has anyone heard if sauer showed up and failed his physical or if he is still home? doesn't make a difference, just curious
Mas Selina Salno, Princess of Sergina: Why does no one pay heed to my warning? The entire human race will perish from the Earth. When the monster Ghidorah passes, only flaming ruins are left.
Detective Shindo: Ghidorah?
Mas Selina Salno, Princess of Sergina: Centuries ago, the monster appeared in the skies of Mars. Within a month, the culture of Mars had been wiped out completely. The civilization on my planet had reached a stage of development which you people will not achieve for a long time. Centuries, at least. Today, because of the three-headed space monster, it is a dead world. Dead and unpopulated.
Dr. Tsukamoto: It would be a bad situation if that creature came here to Earth.
Mas Selina Salno, Princess of Sergina: It's worse, because Ghidorah arrived.
