The Leafs need someone who will improve the roster, who has the stones to make the deals to do so. Treliving has never been that guy.

Whether he is or not you can't judge someone 6 months into his tenure of inheriting a capped out roster with little flexibility.

Yes, he hasn't done tantrum moves like a typical HF board poster would so if that makes him bad I guess he is bad

Not for right now… custodianship of the team needs to consider next year and the years beyond. We don’t have a robust defensive group because those seeds were never planted in 2018, 2019, 2020.

You gotta ask yourself, why would Anaheim claim Lagesson instead of Bjornfot.....Should tell you a lot about him considering Anaheim would have seen him plenty over the years.

If nothing else he could have replaced the departed William Lagesson lost on waivers.

We paid more than that to get Boosh and Edmundson as rentals. If he can regain the form he had earlier in his career in a much better defensive system it’s a steal.

He played two games for Vegas...

Lagesson is a better player so we would've been better off to just not waive Lagesson.
