True but we need to compare our roster to the biggest threat and thats Florida....if we can fill the holes vs the Panthers we will have the highest chance of success, im confident we can beat anyone in the East besides them atm...and depending on how much depth the west adds there might be one or two teams on the same level and they have to win 3rounds for us to face them in the finals so yeah Florida is the team we need to look at.
Why is that not realistic to get four players? Trust me I've worked out the cap its possible, and we could get two of these players listed in one deal....so whats your reasoning behind us not being able to make 4 trades?
or they play on teams rebuilding so retaining cap isn't an issue.and as mentioned before our main threat just keeps getting better so what's our solution luckooo buddy we're in for a ride if that's the case
Would you rather trade away Dewar, Timmins, Kampf, Reaves, Myers and picks this year to be a legit contender or stand pat/pickup mediocre players and keep our picks but increase the chance of Marner and Tavares walking in the off-season.

Yeah but realistically they are the only assets we have to move for cap to upgrade and lets be honest on our current roster these are the guy's with the least skill per cap hit...its not about what we get back for them, there just a bonus for the teams we trade with.
