Frank already back peddling on Robertson. It went from he will be traded by the end of camp to he will be traded to it's possible he's still traded.
It's unfortunate how much worse his production has been season over season after he asked for a trade. I am assuming he's just not happy in Toronto. Maybe he can't handle the pressure he's put on himself. Overall it's not good for the Leafs.

Zegras would be a decent target if we’re willing to bet his offensive game would take off here. But he’s not a center, you’re better off putting Willy down the middle than Zegras. Zegras would probably slot in the 2LW spot. He would also probably be pretty cheap to acquire.

I think that's how you find diamonds in the rough though. I'm not sure if Anaheim has been a developing powerhouse for a long time. Even if Zegras is a winger moving forward, I think he'd be a good target to bolster our quality in the top 6 further with a small chance he could move to center in a pinch. But with a lack of assets and cap space, it might not be feasible. I have a feeling the Hawks will get him in some way.

I'd only put in a claim for Fabbro if I had a trade lined up for one of our #5-#8D, so now downgrade of talent but we pick up a draft pick or struggling prospect with some ceiling

I feel like he's a bit redundant because we're already full up with #5-#8D types

We don't have the cap to take him on. We just traded Liljegren away for cap space and Hakanpaa is about to come off LTIR.

We already have Timmins playing well, Hakanpaa could be moved if someone will give us something for him

I think he’s snakebitten in the production department, but has been working hard. If he still wants out putting up points can only help in that regard. I still think he’d be better utilized on one of the top two lines, and get PP time, if not here then somewhere else…….

He's generated 1.5 xG and scored 1 so far this season. Hardly snakebitten. At the end of the day if you put me in the Leafs lineup I would work hard too, it doesn't mean I should be in the top 6.

I never said he should be in the top six, I said that’s where his game would thrive. Using a wrench as a hammer never works out well. BTY, I cojld care less sbout the player…….

Someone should check to see if Robertson misunderstood the assignment and put a curve on his skate blades. Don't think I've ever seen someone wipe out from nothing so much

Working hard is the absolute bare minimum for an NHL player to be fair.

Looking around, there really isn’t many center options that are available. If we’re looking at someone who can play 2/3C, I think you look at Frost.

If it came down to keeping either Kampf or Jarnkrok due to cap purposes, you keep Kampf. Plays a more important role and better on the PK.

Jarnkrok for a 3rd + 5th Rounder
Robertson + 2nd + Prospect for Frost

Knies - Matthews - Domi
Pacioretty - Tavares - Marner
McMann - Frost - Nylander
Lorentz - Kampf - Holmberg/Reaves

So they can waive Holmberg at any time here, he's going to clear. Can try Steeves or little Willy while we have injuries.
