Offer up Robertson + Jarnkrok/Domi + 1st in 27 + Niemela


Then go get B.Tanev (retained) for Dewar + 4th in 27

Lastly acquire L.Schenn (retained) + 5th in 25 for 3rd in 25 + C.Timmins

SJ has already used up all three of their retention spots

I don't disagree that he helps the scoring issue, but whether or not he balances the lineup enough is a matter of debate.

Wouldn't you rather package Rielly for O.Power might cost us a few picks extra but the kids 22 vs 31 and could potentially be better.....also it would void us having to move Parayko in the next 4years, it would leave us with a huge hole, someone like Power im more confident signing once his contacts up in 2031 vs Parayko in four years at 36years old.

Parayko is a far better fit for this roster than Power. He'd be a spectacular addition, I've wanted him for years.

But he's a pipe dream. The Blues can't replace him if they trade him and they aren't a team that is going to chill at the bottom of the standings for 5 years, for better or worse that isn't what the Blues do.

Knies won’t be involved, I believe it was CJ who asked a GM if Carolina would get a player similar value of Necas back and the answer was no.

Probably looking at a top prospect and roster player back, maybe a pick.

Probably Cowan + Robertson/McMann + a pick. Knies would not be moved for a rental

They may not want that but it sounds like Carolina is getting futures back in a deal for Rantanen, they won’t be getting a Nevas equivalent player back. They kind of screwed the pooch.

The only name floated around recently is Dobson. Perhaps Clarke in LA if he's out there as well.

I don’t understand wanting to trade Knies and especially for defense. We CANNOT SCORE in the playoffs and he’s been one of our best playoff goal scorers the last two seasons.
