Am I the only one who thinks Schenn is being overrated?

He's not even remotely as good as the attention he's getting. If they end up overpaying for him, it will be a massive fail.

Minten, Cowan and Danford for Schenn is an insane ask. Like if Dreger is correct on that I’d be pissed if I were Treliving.

If ROR is actually available and his problem was just with Keefe, I take him back in a second. Perfect fit.

Also, Cowan, Minten AND Danford might not be enough for Schenn?? Darren, that is ABSURD.

I definitely think it was related to Keefe and our style of play. It didnt take long for the new coach to completely change our system.

Why is no one talking about San Jose as a possible team to target?

Offer up Robertson + Jarnkrok/Domi + 1st in 27 + Niemela


Then go get B.Tanev (retained) for Dewar + 4th in 27

Lastly acquire L.Schenn (retained) + 5th in 25 for 3rd in 25 + C.Timmins

After the railing Brisebois just got I doubt Francis will be giving up Tanev for scraps. I still don't see a #3c there. Kunin has been 22 points a year. He makes them better but he doesn't fit a real need.

Wouldn't you rather package Rielly for O.Power might cost us a few picks extra but the kids 22 vs 31 and could potentially be better.....also it would void us having to move Parayko in the next 4years, it would leave us with a huge hole, someone like Power im more confident signing once his contacts up in 2031 vs Parayko in four years at 36years old.

San Jose has been mentioned, as obviously they're not a playoffs team.

However, they can't retain as their 3 spots are filled.

So there is the price for the player and then more assets for 1 3rd. party retention.
