Top 6 f to replace Kerfoot And a physical 4th liner are our needs in my opinion

Did anyone catch what Friedman said at the 1st intermission? I missed it but saw some chatter about it on Twitter? Something about the Leafs looking to re-allocate salary in deadline trades?
Excited to catch this one tonight, hoping the Leafs can finish this out strong. Vancouver tomorrow with travel will be a challenge (even though it's Vancouver) so I'd love for them to bank 2 more points tonight.
Very off-topic, but Wayne Simmonds has more goals this year than Eichel, Hall, and Skinner combined. Blew my mind when I saw it.
Well he is not, so if he is looking to get paid, he can look elsewhere.
Fortunately, I don't think Hyman cares about getting paid so he will go in at a number which matches what makes sense for the Leafs and what he is actually worth.

Is Granlund even a big upgrade on Kerfoot?

Palmieri at least brings some more goal scoring and physicality to the picture if we were to target him.
Jankrok would be a nice addition but he’s not a center which is where we’d need to upgrade if we make a change to that third line.
Yeah I liked Pagnotta's idea of Kerfoot and a pick/prospect for Granlund and Haula @50% retention.Reading between the lines, seems like it would be a deal involving Kerfoot for a retained pending UFA.
If that fits into the salary cap, definitely not against something like that. If that third line starts to slow down, you can always try Haula as the 3C.Yeah I liked Pagnotta's idea of Kerfoot and a pick/prospect for Granlund and Haula @50% retention.
Thornton-Matthews-Marner
Nylander-Tavares-Granlund
Mikheyev-Engvall-Hyman
Haula-Boyd-Spezza
If Nashville retains on one of those players coming our way it works cap wise.If that fits into the salary cap, definitely not against something like that. If that third line starts to slow down, you can always try Haula as the 3C.
lol I was juts about to write this exact same post. To me, this team is absolutely rolling. If i were KD, I'd set up a meeting between all the leaders in the room (Matthews, Marner, Mo, JT, Muzz, Hyman, Spezz, and Jumbo) and ask them what their thoughts are. You don't want to do nothing if that is going to leave the impression in the room like the GM doesn't want to go all in, But at the same time if it ain't broke why fix it? The team hasn't played this well in over 30+ years maybe longer. Seems really foolish to add when we do not have the roster spots to accommodate this. And even if the oppourtuniy came about to move a Kerfoot for a better suited winger w/ JT and Willy, what impact would that have on the room? All these things need to be considered. the right move to me, is moving picks and non roster players for added depth. People that can push for minutes and keep competition from going stale. But I would not do anything major at all. The boys are buzzing right now, and have been most of the yearAnyone else feel hesitant to make a trade?
Seems like everything is clicking right at the moment, wouldn't want to add someone new in and mess it all up. And we still need space for our injured guys to come back into the lineup

Am I the only one who doesn’t want Taylor Hall? Like at all?
