I like Coyle but they definitely did.Or they overpaid for Coyle

I'm not opposed to this as a basis of a deal but there's gotta be more coming to Boston. We already have a top line rw so that's a lot of money for a 2rw who can't stay healthy and produced less points than mittelstadt given in less games.Swap for Laine Habs shed some cap Bruins shed a year

This is tired, and old. It's a picture from before he even played a game for the Sabres.
You don't have to worry about that. Zib has already told the NYR media that he has earned his NMC and has not desire to waive it.I heard a crazy rumour today that has Boston sending Mittelstadt ( no retention ) to the Rangers for Zibanejad ( no retention ) and the 43rd pick in the upcoming draft. I would hope that the Bruins would want no part of Zibanejad as his $8.5 million cap hit for 3 more seasons is way too much for adding just an early 2nd pick.
Well the Avs had to throw a second round pick on top of Mitts a few months ago just to get a 33 year old Charlie Coyle from you guys so that might give you some idea of his value.
Is he THAT bad or just awful fit for Boston? Montreal power play got better when Laine (granted not totally healthy, but when is he) was replaced by Demidov in the playoffs, so I just don't know if he's capable of bringing anything to Montreal if he's not firing piss missiles on PP1Laine can score on the pp from either side. He would be a good band-aid. Casey M is garbage. I do the deal 99 out of a hundred.
He is that bad. He is a half hearted floater in spades. Is he THAT bad or just awful fit for Boston? Getting out of the extra year for a player that clearly doesn't fit on your team is the kicker, no way I'd add anything. In fact based on reaction from other Bs fans I'd say it leans in their direction. Also feel like drawing attention to the only 7 point gap in a difference of 29 games isn't the best for your position lolI'm not opposed to this as a basis of a deal but there's gotta be more coming to Boston. You're gonna love old cement skates. I'd probably do it just to take a stab but to be honest I think the Habs address the center position more meaningfully than that and wouldn't want the extra yearHe is that bad. He is a half hearted floater in spades.
Given all their draft capital, i think you are right. You're gonna love old cement skates. I'd probably do it just to take a stab but to be honest I think the Habs address the center position more meaningfully than that and wouldn't want the extra year
One is meant to be an offensive powerhouse and the other isn’t. Both currently aren’t offensive power houses. One addresses the other teams need for a centre. The other world be a wildly expensive 2rw. Any of this helping to show why a kicker is needed. I’m not saying a first or top prospect but I think a mid pick works.Getting out of the extra year for a player that clearly doesn't fit on your team is the kicker, no way I'd add anything. There's plenty of centres who suck that don't cost 5.75. I could argue Laine even fills a need with more certainty for Boston than Middlestadt does to Montreal, a demonstrated boost to one of the worst power plays in the league. Very disappointed in Laine thought he would really put it together when he came back, but you have a good point one year, and a contract year also, might be worth the shot at him and always a trade deadline candidate.I would do it from Boston's end. Would rather roll the dice on Laine than hand Boeser a long term bag.
