Considering Morrow got Morrow in return, we could get a lot more than a 1st for Gaborik. Really doubt their priority is getting picks and prospects back.

Joe Morrow is an excellent prospect. Big, skilled, good shot. Definitely has a ton of upside. Would be an unbelievable pickup for Nieuwendyk, especially for Morrow.

But, that said, Pittsburgh DOES become a better team NOW from this move. It's terribly short-sighted, but it improves and adds some leadership to an already top-notch forward lineup.

Exactly. They could afford to move one of their defensive prospects for a veteran leader and hard nosed player like Morrow. They needed a player like him in their forward lineup. Their next Bill Guerin.
