I was looking at the treatment of J-Skins and looking around a playoff teams, and the simplest deal that could be made is with the Leafs

Trade Jeff Skinner for Calle Jarnkrok.

Oilers save $900K on the cap, get a RHC/depth player in the mix, but take on next year's cap hit.

Leafs get a scorer to help in their top-9 and save Jarnkrok's cap hit next year.

I think they had interest in him in the offseason and the Leafs are playoff bound.

The team doesn't have that many wingers really since two of them are press box fodder and one should've been waived a week ago.

RNH - Hyman
Kane - Arvidsson
Frederic - Brown
Podkolzin - Perry
Janmark - Jones

It's decent depth assuming the guys at the top remember they're good at Hockey but it's not absolutely amazing or anything.

I won't be surprised if Frederic swaps out Henrique at centre.

I think the winger pairs that feel more natural to me are RNH-Hyman, Fred/Rico-RV, Fred/Kane-Podz; and it's specifically that 3rd duo that's key to re-establishing this teams physical identity.
The one other idea I have is try RNH and Hyman with Drai, RNH-McDavid-Hyman is just broken at the moment,

Podkolzin-Kapanen-Perry

You could try Podz at 3LW, but imo Janmark's speed is needed, Kap could also be a fit here if you go with Janmark, Philp or someone else at 4C)
