I won't be surprised if Frederic swaps out Henrique at centre.

I think the winger pairs that feel more natural to me are RNH-Hyman, Fred/Rico-RV, Fred/Kane-Podz; and it's specifically that 3rd duo that's key to re-establishing this teams physical identity.
The one other idea I have is try RNH and Hyman with Drai, RNH-McDavid-Hyman is just broken at the moment,

Janmark-Frederic-Kane
Podkolzin-Kapanen-Perry

You could try Podz at 3LW, but imo Janmark's speed is needed, Kap could also be a fit here if you go with Janmark, Philp or someone else at 4C)

Fred-McDavid-RV (bump Kane up into Fred's spot if he looks good)
Kane-Henrique-Podz (similar to the Kane-Henrique-Foegele line that looked good down the stretch last year)

Sounds like that big fat disagreement between management and Kane was fabricated by dishonest people who needed an excuse to write a story.

It seems more likely that neither Kane or Bowman and friends know for certain when Kane will be capable of playing again.

This recent Kane story felt a pre-emptive excuse for Bowman being a poor negotiator...

Get us Murphy and Soderblom and let Chicago have whoever they want from two-thirds of our roster and prospect pool, which is as shallow as a bird bath in the Sahara anyway...

I don't love the player, but I think he improves the depth overall, and the cap hit isn't unmanageable. The return is the big question.

Safe to assume most teams would deal their back ups for assets, Ottawa isn't moving Ullmark, NJ isn't moving Markstrom, but getting assets for Forsberg and Allen (as pending UFAs) makes alot of sense.

Binnington and Gibson, but honestly you have to ask around to see what you want to do.

He is their third most used defender against elites and is a -1 in that time. He seems to do just as well against everyone else.
5v5 he has gotten the 2nd most minutes and is rocking a 47% goalshare

He has a 2.55XgA/60 which would place him around Darnell Nurse. Which is actually very good for how bad Chicago is.

Would probably be a really solid partner for Nurse.
