That’s true but when you have glaring holes you have to address them.
Nuge and Hyman aren’t suddenly going to get better next year. Ekholm has already started his decline. Drai and McDavid are nearing the end of their peaks etc. we don’t have enough near NHl ready prospect to continue this team, and our long term players are declining and have NMC. This is the last decent chance to win a cup. If they are waiting till next year to try again, they might as well rebuild.

Just put Janmark at #4C and play JSkinner.

I think the issue is the team's neutral zone play has been pure ass since the break.

You're going to look slow and old when you're constantly turning pucks over in the neutral zone and you can't defend the rush at the blue line.

WTF? So we should just give up and try next season??? What kind of play is this. We need McDavid to SIGN IN THE SUMMER. Why would he sign here if he knows his team wasn't willing to pull out all the stops to win a Cup??

We just acquired 2 wingers. If Kane is coming back for the playoffs, that means at least 2, if not more wingers have to be shipped out. We have much more cap space than we previously thought.
