I'd be shocked if he's dealt. He's resigned with Colorado all of his career and has indicated (IIRC) that he'd retire if Colorado didn't want him back rather than go to another team. I think he's rejected trade offers in the past few years as well so he doesn't have to leave Colorado.

There's no way we'd trade Bernier for JBouw. We need a physical dman, not another SAH softy. Return of Greene should help but it wouldn't hurt to add another physical dman in the interim.
Martinez + pick to Philly for Read. Then get Smid from Edmonton for basically nothing because tambellinis such a weenie. Toffoli back to Manch till end of season and Richardson traded for 3rd rounder. Someone do the lines for me with Read at 2nd line LW since im on my phone k thanks bye

We wouldn't get a 3rd for Richardson in all likelihood, and Tambs isn't dealing Smid for nothing. He's a UFA to be, but would still likely command a 2nd at least on the trade market.

And you know that's my fear, he's my favorite FLyer. A terrific player, positionally sound on both sides of the puck and confident in all 3 zones. Very fast, very very smart and great hands. Rarely makes a mistake.
By far the most consistant player on the team (and one of the few that ha sshown up this year) the Flyers best 2 way player.
And with the Flyers in such poor shape, needing a D...and their history of sacrificing young talent (JVR abd Bob most recently) for a quick fix...I am afraid we'll lose Matt
But having him as King , playing with Richie and Carter would be great. He's really a terrific young player.

Yeah, I'd be cool with this. Really depends on where Nashville is come the trade deadline but he's signed for cheap.

I'd take Hal Gill in a heartbeat. I doubt we'll need him though, unless Greene has had a setback. Gill though would be a great add to this defense if we had room for him.
Speaking of Greene, he was supposed to be out until late March, but when Dean talked last month he had said Greene was a bit ahead of schedule. Shouldn't we be hearing something soon about if he's returning or not?

i thought the original time frame was to return just prior to the PO's or at the start of them.
at this point i only expect to see Greener suit up. i am writing Willie off permanently.
