Retired.
Collberg is a very dynamic player. There's upside there, but Snow still screwed the pooch on this one.
I am too. Astounded. And sending Miller down too - eventually when Zucc comes back. Decreases size and grit again.
We dont replace grit anymore.
Goin the skill route since summer 2012.
where is the size and grit needed for the playoffs.. oh wait Sather did do anything to address that need..
i do like the St.Louis deal but where is the deal for grit for the playoffs..![]()
i would absolutely try to get stewart...hope we did....depends on what it takes.

Collberg is a solid prospect. Snow should have gotten more for Vanek, though I'm sure time was a factor on this one, and it wasn't doing Snow any favors.
Callahan had basically little value today based on Moulson/Vanek returns.
It's not coming and won't be coming with Sather and AV at the helm. Funny how some still want more one dimensional skill.
Look at the Rangers cap situation. The Rangers have added $14.025M in commitments for next season with the acquisitions of Klein and MSL plus re-signing Girardi. $53,187,500 for 12 players. 6 forward. 4 D. 2 G. The cap won't be set at $70M-71M. Nick Kypreos and Doug MacLean were discussing that yesterday on Hockeycentral at noon. NHL teams believe the cap will be set at $68M-$69M because of the Canadian dollar. $1M-$1.5M-$2M less. The Rangers will need every penny looking at their cap situation.
Arbitration for Brassard,Zuccarello and Kreider. Moore is a group II. Stralman and Boyle are group IIIs.

Richie seems like a goner. 6.67 more to that.
If the #habs fail to make the playoffs, there are no picks involved in the Vanek trade. Would just be Vanek for Collberg.
