HF Habs: Trade Proposal Thread: From Here to Free Agency

The fact they couldn't pry an actual roster player out of FLA is so pathetic and frustrating on their part.

Imagine adding Brady Tkachuk to our roster and all it costs is picks. We'd be all over that.
Not much you can do when Brady pretty much chose on where he was going to play. As the Wild made a large offer but it looks like Brady chose Florida

They could've held onto him since Brady has got two full seasons left on his deal.

I think OTT want to do something with the haul they took in.

okok that kind of guy, yup ya right bud, have a great sunday.
Why are you acting like a petulant child?

If BOTH nobodies and stars have great stats in juniors, how does it not prove my point? I assume you’re an adult?

Yeah there was less than zero chance Montreal was on his list or Ottawa would trade him there.
I doubt Tkachuk would want a trade from OTT to MTL either, I don't think any one is grumbling about that.

It's just that some organizations seem to constantly be active and pro-active and others seem to be more opportunistic and reactive. We've needed a 2C for well over a year now.

The old guard of the East isn't about to hand over the keys just yet. What about Tampa? Surely they will make some moves as well.

The Habs are in tough. Kent Hughes job just got tougher.

KH better be doing something serious this off season.

Last season we got lucky that Toronto and Florida both had off years, next season both of those teams will likely be back in the mix.

As things stand today, this team will be lucky to be a wild card team.

"I don't know why its always being brought up that I want out of Ottawa I want to win here and its so frustrating why the media keeps bringing it up" what a f***ing joke of a human being LOL
While supremely talented, a first-line player and elite power forward... he's also, quite simply, one of the most blatantly unlikable people in the sport, and that's putting it mildly.

Brady went for basically Reinbacher + Beck + Mesar. Thankfully a lot of you are not our GM, wanting to give up more for worse players.

If Fla gets a cup
Does it matter what they pd
The idea of Brady Tkachuk has always been better than the reality of him. The Sens have won precisely nothing with him. Last year they played the Leafs and got punked. This year they played the Canes and got punked. Brady is no more impactful to his team's success than Darcy Tucker was for the Leafs. He's a sideshow clown, nothing more.
