One question that isn't fully answered: is Cozens a 60 point physical center or a 40 point physical center? If it's not the former, that contract is not going to wear well.

At wosrt 40, at best 70pts player?

Reinhart was a 20goal/50pts bust in Buffalo
Eichel was suposelly a loser because he never made the playoff in Buffalo. Both of them are terrific players now with cup rings…

Tampa legitimately getting owned in that deal but they don't care. Any year they are successful they have to go for it and deal with the fall out when it all comes crashing down like the Penguins.

To be honest, I would trade Laine this summer at 50% retain. Beck can go back to Laval and be the 1st call up when needed.

Damn.. Tampa be like who the hell needs picks and prospects anyway. I guess they feel that the NHL is wide open right now and feel their window is still open with their core so they're going all the way in while they think they still have a chance at another cup here.

Savard is done. He was still good last year but his game took a nosedive this year. I don't see how they can justify resigning them.

Geezus, that's a lot for 2 middle 6 roster players. I believe Seattle is retaining on both, but still .... Nice asset management by Seattle.

Maybe as a 7th D that fills in in case of injuries. He'd be a good mentor.

Although we'll need to find playing time for Reinbacher, Mailloux and maybe even Engstrom at some point next year. So you may be right, we'd be better off signing a vet only if we can pair him with Lane.

Laine? I could see them moving him.
Kapanen? Looking really good. Played 12 games already. Very close.

With a 2C added i see 14 forwards in the mix.
