Keep Evans and get a decent (stop gap) Center to help diminish the load on Suzuki.
Its not rocket science.

I agree. They have everything we could hope for.Washington is the best fit to trade Evans/Armia in my eyes. They have the best assets that could interest us
Let's throw Matheson (50% retained), Evans and Armia for Hutson.Washington is the best fit to trade Evans/Armia in my eyes. They have the best assets that could interest us
Beck and Heineman in PK, you brings some plugs from Laval, pain.Assuming we trade out Evans and Armia even possibly Savard who’s filling those spots within the organization? Just out of Curiosity
I wouldn’t target Hutson, we already have Lane who plays this roleLet's throw Matheson (50% retained), Evans and Armia for Hutson.
Wishful thinking at its best.
Where probably gonna get a player that can finish the year in return to equalize the contract ratioAssuming we trade out Evans and Armia even possibly Savard who’s filling those spots within the organization? Just out of Curiosity

They can keep him thenTerrible.. just shoots whenever he gets it. Skates into the boards whenever he has to carry it.
I thought that's what this forum was all about!I'll never understand how anyone could cite Eklund in 2025. He was a known fraud in 2007.
I'm of the opinion that the Habs don't have anyone within the organization that is ready to step into Evans' spot. There is Beck and Hage, but they are years away from reaching Evans' level. I believe they will eventually be better than Evans. But if Evans is traded this week, no one is ready to step in.
Armia, I don't feel the same way about. He's playing well. But I believe that they have big bodied wingers who can step into 4th line roles from within. I'm looking at Tuch and Florian. And even if just smaller, I believe Davidson can step in next year.
Andersson isnt as good as people here think he is. He also has 1 year left after this one, so it could be acquire Carlo for 5 bucks, sell Andersson for 8 bucks and then sell Carlo for 4 bucks when Parekh, or Bru is ready. That is weird. RHD is the last thing Flames need. They have Andersson, Weegar, Pachal, Miromanov and prospects like Parekh or Brusztewicz.
Majority of these clowns are all just clickbaitAndersson isnt as good as people here think he is. He also has 1 year left after this one, so it could be acquire Carlo for 5 bucks, sell Andersson for 8 bucks and then sell Carlo for 4 bucks when Parekh, or Bru is ready.
How come randomly random people get insight into things ?
Was it free agency, or last year's trade deadline when the Twitter user shay something who only posted clips and I think wrote articles started posting all these rumours that turned out.
Can Robinson is a former amateur scout, editor for Dobber prospects and lead content guy for Elite Prospects now … he’s well connected w NHL scouting community not some “random people”How come randomly random people get insight into things ?

Then why wasn't he the go-to guy last year, the year before, or 9 months ago ?Can Robinson is a former amateur scout, editor for Dobber prospects and lead content guy for Elite Prospects now … he’s well connected w NHL scouting community not some “random people”
He always puts out anything he gets, but that’s not his primary job which is scouting & reporting on draft eligible prospectsThen why wasn't he the go-to guy last year, the year before, or 9 months ago ?
What is more assets though? The habs don’t really need more 2nd round picks and B prospects. They need roster players that can play in top 6My biggest fear is that Hughes is blinded by the recent success and does not acquire more assets for Evans. We aren't in a position to contend and we must follow the plan. He tried to "speed up" the process twice by acquiring Dach and Newhook and it didn't turn out great. As long as we have Bergevin's garbage still on the team, we should be sellers.
