Demidov is a HAB
Remarkable eh
Remarkable eh
It’s been in a very alarming state of “Be a GM mode” for a while now.
that is the ?I think we would all love to see a trade that shakes the team, and makes it better going forward, asap........the playoffs look like they are in the rear view window now, but next year is huge for this group.
Who........do we move of significance? Elliot F is saying the habs are willing to deal.......
I wonder if Matty Beniers or Lafreniere can be had
2 big young centers with big cap hits that haven’t taken that giant next step yet playing on teams that also need to shake things up
Yikes! Had a brain cramp...thanks, I removed himLafreniere is a winger
That is what he will want we need players who are a little further advanced in their development.Pretty much what I've been saying, HuGo will be looking more at hockey trades rather than simply sell for draft picks. And in those types of trades, it would take more than just those who will be UFA's. It'll include either a current roster player who might have some years left on their deal or a prospect or two.
Don’t cry. I was just asking a question? Are you gonna be ok?
What’s remarkable?Remarkable eh
What about Joe Sakic and Phil Esposito?
Anyway you kind of validated @Habs Icing 's point. Your list has 9 names which is close to 6, and is not indisputable.
How much would 15 million dollar Pornstache produce in Montreal? What about Aho and Point?
I'm a father of five with a professional career, I don't know how you find the time to do that, write so many good posts, and play games.
I'd love to play Age of Empires, but I fear if I started I'd lose my job and CPS would take my kids.
is rg.org a person?
According to a source close to the case cited by the site RG.org, the Canadian would have a real interest in getting his hands on Dobson.
"A source familiar with the matter confirms that the Canadians are monitoring the situation closely, but that no offers have been made yet. However, using some of the assets acquired in their sale could help them soften the blow of the high price that any of the assets mentioned above are likely to cost them."

Marco knows how to spell Canadiens.there's marco d'amico that writes at RG iirc, probably got a few others
the layout of that website bothers me so much
Pretty good reason to cut Dach loose imho. They should be looking at Duchene seriously for a mentor role. We kinda messed up by not considering it for Monahan, We need a vet who can drag his ass into professional habits, that's just not Dach.I really don’t like the Slaf pick or how he was handled and frankly I don't have faith in his upside as a reliable impact player but unless he’s openly defying the coaches and also is partying to a degree that indicates """character issues""" there’s no way it is a good idea to trade him away right now... unless he's a terrible character AND the other party is in love with him and wants him badly.
Not sure if the habs would deal with the bruins, but that is a team that is entering a rebuild and desperate for futures. Carlo is a top 4 RD that could ne available, for centers it doesn't look that great but maybe Coyle could be the stopgap some are looking for.that is the ?

I'd rather ask them for their 2026 1st (or a package of 2026 picks) and let them use their 2025 to get Cozen, if that's really their plan.To Detroit:
Evans + Armia
To Habs:
Detroit’s 2025 1st round pick, conditional on making playoffs.
Otherwise 2nd + 3rd rd picks.
Detroit are in a wild card spot. They’re dead last in PK%. Their bottom 6 is bad. (They go hand in hand)
Evans and Joelle would be 5th and 6th among forwards in points on the Wings. Numbers don’t really translate to new teams, BUT, there’s a good chance they could maintain their roles as, ostensibly, 2/3 of a 3rd line / #1PK unit.
Detroit might be looking for a bigger fish (Cozens), so likely a plan B.

I'd be fine with the 1st, but wouldn't make it conditional. Detroit is getting the players, if they don't make the playoffs it won't be because of Evans and Armia. To Detroit:
