Trade Evans. He's 100% replaceable.
Don't trade with Colorado.
I want Texier for a 3rdDO NOT DO ANYMORE TRADES WHERE YOU TRY AND ACQUIRE STRUGGLING PLAYERS THAT HAVE A CAREER HIGH OF 30 POINTS.
A no-brainer for the Isles. Dobson is the most overrated player on this board right now.
At this point I agree, but I think they'll wait to auction Matheson next TDL.If Matheson brings back a first and a prospect you have to make that trade. If they don't want to move him, the habs better be ready to sign him long-term, if not, just trade him and be done with it.
Savard 2nd/3rd
Matheson 1st
Armia 3rd
Evans 2nd
Dvorak 2nd
Not sure how it all plays out, but without a doubt Dvorak, Matheson, and Armia should be on their way out. Savard to if it's for a 2nd or 3rd. Eventually we need to turn some picks into players.
There is no rumored Dach for Cozens, that's HF fiction and fantasy. As usual, we need to get bigger and tougher.
Our two best forwards are Lady Byng candidates. That’s nice and all but it doesn’t win you hockey games when things get tough.
Our best defenseman looks like he could play on a Bantam team.
Bigger guys who can skate. Anyone who can finish. Somebody who shows an ounce of heart and compete that can actually fúcking do something about it!!!
We have no swagger. No identity. No team first pack mentality.
I would call up Davidson, he’s earned it, that’s the kind of guy that would play well with Evans and Armia.
The guys with the most talent are doing the least, and nobody else can carry the water.
Dach and Newhook are awful. Just awful. Dach I gave a lot of leeway to because he was hurt but he needs to be better. Newhook just skates fast and hopes for the best. It doesn’t happen. Send him packing for sure, never liked the pickup.
I’d do the rumoured Dach for Cozens in a heartbeat at this point in time. Dach’s laisez faire attitude has finally worn me down.
Yeah I don't think Dvorak will return even a 7th. 2nd/3rd for Savard seems like a stretch as well.If Matheson brings back a first and a prospect you have to make that trade. If they don't want to move him, the habs better be ready to sign him long-term, if not, just trade him and be done with it.

Obviously, following Kevin Weekes' revelation, several observers suggested trade scenarios that would allow the Canadiens to obtain Dylan Cozens. Among these proposals, the one formulated by Marc-Olivier Beaudoin particularly captured the attention of Montreal fans.
Here is the offer he proposed:
IN MONTREAL: Dylan Cozens
IN BUFFALO: Alex Newhook , Logan Mailloux and a 2nd round pick in 2025
I’m a big fan of fantasy hockey and play in several different leagues but I understand the difference between fantasy and reality.Yeah HF has always been a fantasy hockey community. It's entertaining in certain ways. Folks who take it too seriously don't usually stick around for too long.
We need slaf....(To trade up for Misa )I'd do Slafkovsky in a deal for Dobson.
With Caufield and Demidov we're fine on the wings. Second line wingers are easy to acquire.

as much as I like Misa, we cant trade Slaf - he will be star over the next few years and will leave a hole in our top 6. Misa is still 2 years from making an impact. Trading Slaf is one of those regrets you dont get back (like Peterson for Neely). We need slaf....(To trade up for Misa )
It was half a joke but also I am very very high on Michael Misa and despite the gap in where they are developmentally it's difficult for me to see slaf having as big of an impact on a team as a player like Misa will. Also in my head I have us following that up with signing rantanenas much as I like Misa, we cant trade Slaf - he will be star over the next few years and will leave a hole in our top 6. Misa is still 2 years from making an impact. Trading Slaf is one of those regrets you dont get back (like Peterson for Neely).
Absent selecting one of the big 4 this year... I'd be pretty happy picking up Mrtka (with our pick) and Ryabkin (with CGYs), moreso than trading both to move and select say Desnoyers.
If you want a real blockbuster, I'd consider moving Hutson for Nemec straight up.
...unless it's MacKinnon or Makar coming back...
It’s a very wild thread. Some of these roster proposals are mind blowing. Filling half the team with new players and the other half with rookies who’ve never played in the NHL.
Cozens is an overpaid borderline 2nd line player. We already have Slaf for that role, I have no idea why we'd want Cozens let alone giving up any assets for him?? 0 chance we give up LM, they'd have to give us a draft pick to take on his salary.Obviously, following Kevin Weekes' revelation, several observers suggested trade scenarios that would allow the Canadiens to obtain Dylan Cozens.
