Looks like Granlund has been a good fit. Ofc its Sharks but he has gotten points so thats good.
Him getting knocked down is going to happen, but what we’ve stopped seeing is him puck jacking guys and winning physical battles like he was doing last season. The grind of a long NHL season seems to be wearing on him. Hopefully, it’s something we can chalk up to him still being a rookie.I still think Stankoven has looked mostly fine tbh. Still creating, still getting chances. His finishing has been just terrible though
Definitely have noticed his size issues more lately but it's easy to pick on things when he's not producing. Truth is he's always been knocked down/hit hard a lot going back to last season, we just didn't notice it as often
I'm still not worried about him. He's 21 years old
I would have confidently voted Stankoven.we should have had a pre season poll on who would have the better year, stank or bork

i would've probs gone that way, but i've also watched a ton of both of their junior/ early days. mav has insane iq/vision. for some reason we always undervalue thatI would have confidently voted Stankoven.
I’d imagine it’s because they want their 4th line not to be a liability, and spread their top guys throughout all four lines to secure the win.Looks like Stankoven is up on the top line now. Johston has been taking shifts with the 4th line which is curious.
i think johnston has become the new jere.. put him on a line you want fixedLooks like Stankoven is up on the top line now. Johston has been taking shifts with the 4th line which is curious.
