Hutson is not from Detroit he grew up in a suburb of Chicago.
Fine, let’s get Bedard.

Yea we have one of the most exciting rookie for ages and oh yea let’s trade him.Why ????
Hutson for Seider is a good start but while we're at it, I think we should also do Demivov for Kane straight up. I heard that guy is a beast in the playoffs.
That was 10 years ago you say? Don't care, when they offer you Patty Kane you don't ask for more.
Guys, forget about Crosby and Seider. Let’s talk something a little more realistic.
If the Bruins keep losing and we keep winning, how much would Brad Marchand cost? We could use a playoff rat with his experience.

What habs need to finish the season is a better #13 forward (than Pezz) who can step up and help in case of injuries.
Plus a vet-D, a RHD if possible as a #7-#8 d-man.

This may seem like a joke but this trade deadline is tailor made for bargain bin Bergevin
Malkin seems broken… Dach seems like he was never assembled right!Hard pass
In what sense? This is a great test for the current management on whether what they say means something or they are full of shit.
Boston never trade Marchand here. Be ultimate insult to their fansGuys, forget about Crosby and Seider. Let’s talk something a little more realistic.

It does seem funny eh, considering his biggest decisions are now on what types of bagels to get Rob Blake. This may seem like a joke but this trade deadline is tailor made for bargain bin Bergevin

Crosby and Seider? In a three-way? Sounds interesting.Guys, forget about Crosby and Seider. Let’s talk something a little more realistic.

They haven’t shown their cards or inclination at all. If they sell I won’t be surprised. If they buy I won’t be surprised. If they stand pat I won’t be surprised. ‘In the mix’ is also ‘no man’s land’ by another name.
That sounds like a shot at his manhood. It doesn't make sense but that's Crosby. The guy is probably still wearing the same cup he's had since bantam (and i'm not joking).

This isn't true. They clearly said the current season success doesn't change their plan.
This means no rental this year.
Evans is the biggest question mark. Pending UFA and if he is asking for a lot, what do we do? Let him play it out while we go as far as we can or trade him? Because I feel the 1st rounder will be offered. Look at most of the contenders... there is a big 3C need in the NHL. If Hughes feels like it's best to take the 1st rounder, how much faith do we have in Newhook as the 3C? Or does Hughes make a trade for a center but he has term or team control (RFA years left).
Drum roll...... Zegras . Cost to acquire Zegras can't be much now. Would it be a good move to use the 1st in the Evans trade to get Zegras? We add a B+ prospect? Newhook takes the 3C spot and Zegras plays with Dach and Laine for the rest of the year. Then he moves to play with Newhook and Heineman next year when Demdiov arrives.
Savard may get a 2nd but we already have lots of picks. I think Savard, Armia, and Dvorak will stay.
Does trading one of our 3rd rounders count in your equation?
If it's for a rental, yes.
If they buy, it should be for a guy that will be there beyond this year.
On the flip side, this also means they should sell according to plan. This isn't true. They clearly said the current season success doesn't change their plan.
