Who's getting paid?

The Xenforo update obliterated almost all styling and features. This is for pretty much all Xenforo forums. HF admins weren't told about the update until last minute and don't have access to a test environment.

They are trying their best to figure out something that works and get all the site features back.

So Reinbacher, Mailloux, Dach, Newhook, Roy, 1st gets you Barzal. I think you obverrate Barzal a bit. I'.d rather keep rebuilding will be more effective than a 28 years old Barzal for the whole farm system.

I wouldn't make that trade either, I just don't think you get half a team's core that isn't ancient without touching your own.

What would you say if the Hawks offered S Jones straight up for Gallagher. Jones waives to come to Montreal and the Hawks are not on Gallaghers' 6 team NTC.
We decline I'm assuming? I'd be a little worried about Jones skating. I think he has more to offer in a deeper top 4D though.

I want nothing to do with Barzal. Don't hate the player but rather sign Ehlers for free instead. Even if Ehlers stays with the Jets or signs somewhere else, I'd rather take my chances with Dach. Barzal is an elite level skater but on the soft side. I feel the Habs need more grit up front. Ehlers for free or just stay put

Dobson I am interested in but today, his play on the ice is not much different than Matheson. We would have to bank on Dobson maturing more as he heads towards age 25+

I understand the context. I'm not pushing the trade. It's just a pondering thought with Jones and how much more he can provide on a better team. Kind of like the Dubois situation... didn't go to a "better" team but there is better usage and team fit.

Is Perry actually playing 4C for the Oilers right now? Can't be? Not like I think we would get much but Dvorak might be a great fit for their 4C spot. Problem is I value Dvorak on our roster and expiring so it avoid calling up Beck and depleting the Laval playoff run.

Oilers play more with 2.5 lines and sub wingers.

Dvo at 2.25 should get you a 2nd. He's a 56% face off guy this year and sound defensively. On a contender, adding a 4th line center with that faceoff % and a good pker in a sellers market should yield a 2nd.

What about selling Dvorak with retention along with pick(s) for an « upgrade » at C?

Could be a good insurance policy / leverage to re-sign Evans at a reasonable price?

For instance, Dvorak at 2.25M + PIT’s (early) 2nd could be an interesting basis for a trade for a good bottom-6 C.

Nothing. He’s a LD, with a serious concussions history, looking at a big contract this summer and apparently wants to be the #1 Dman on his next team.

A lot of players in Buffalo we could/should target, Byram not one of them in my opinion.
