Miller for Zibanejad seems like the right swap, although Vancouver may be asking for more.
The problem is, if you want EP or Miller, they are the ones that seem to be causing the locker room issues.
Let me clarify not necessarily EP / Miller, these are the situations some “lesser name” can be had with all the background noise.
I agree and I wouldn't want either one of them. I would just like an upgrade at center on the second line but Dach seems to be playing better so there's no rush.
I'd use his recent success to get that missing 2nd line center piece. The other form of Dach isn't worth jock, so it's an opportunity to get a better professional.
And if they trade EP, it means they chose a 31 y/o C over their franchise 26 y/o C. It's a HUGE red flag. It isn't like EP is asking to leave either.

It would suck to lose Laine, but I am just happy to have him for this year and next. If he leaves, you hope Demidov is the player we think he is. Cole goes back to where Laine is on PP1 currently, and Demidov takes Cole's current spot.
Porin Matti.. he actually had a chance to be a solid defenseman (for the Finnish league). Too bad (for him) he was more interested in stupidity. We fans loved every minute of it though!

The Proof is in HuGo making him their captain and their top paid player (before the Laine trade). Vancouver wants to trade Petterson.EP have been more used in the PK then Suzuki each seasons since the 2020-21 seasons
