Yeah, if they don’t improve the D core by adding better vets this team isn’t going anywhere.

They need to get 2 good D vets (RD) to surround Lane, Guhle with quality. If not, they will suck and be out of the mix very fast.

Brule was the guy most people here wanted at the time. Nothing's all that wrong with Wright, but he's not and will likely never be a better player then Dobson. And even if he was that's still only a 50/50 hit rate.

I'm not a big Dobson fan anyways, I don't want a younger Mike Matheson. I know the Dobson fan club are going to freak out, but he's a p***y and sus in his own end. Trigger warning - I don't like Dobson -

I could see Gorton being willing. He doesn't really need to worry if the trade dosen't work out. Drury would never want to take the chance that he loses a trade with Gorton.
