Players not activated on last game of the season can’t play in the first 2 rounds.
They would only need 50K in cap space to activate Stone on the last day.
We got Valiev who was traded for Kulak who was traded for the Hutson pick.We got nothing out of it
We got Smilanic in the Chiarot tradeHughes gonna offer Smilanic for Toffoli back.
And Teams are hoping to trade for Good players too, it goes both ways lolToffoli gets traded a lot for a good player

oh ya - we can offer 1 broken Heineman, sir.We got Smilanic in the Chiarot trade
Bingo. It's really easy to fix this bullshit.
Nah f*** that shit. They can fix this if they wanted to.
If it's the Habs, that means there's nothing coming. That means a 3rd team helped broker the deal because that is only 25% of his $4.95M cap hit.
Can't imagine that 3rd team is getting much to retain 1.2375 million. That being said, I'm not sure if the Guentzel trade will need a broker given that it's a 3way.That means a 3rd team helped broker the deal because that is only 25% of his $4.95M cap hit.
Setting aside the argument over whether there should be a cap in the playoffs, the rules wouldn't have to be convoluted to add one. You would just have to make sure that the AAVs for the roster you ice are below the salary cap. Also if a team is good enough to compete for a playoff spot when they have one or more star player sidelined long-term, I don't see why the league would need a set of convoluted rules to effectively punish them for being very well run.

RyJo was a f***up and Mac was having none of it? Sounds like it
