I'm guessing that Chevy has been trying to make trades just like everyone else. His job is so much more difficult as players will actively block coming to Winnipeg, management from other teams know this, and that makes deals extremely difficult to complete without huge overpayments. Hopefully a couple decent players come our way as the price drops in the next few hours.
There have been a lot more guys traded without NMC’s then with so that argument doesn't hold much weight in a trade. If talking about signing UFA’s then for sure it makes a difference.

$3.4 M is way too much for 2 more years after this. Not only that he also has a rising actual salary making $4.8 next season. It would have to come with at least 50% retention and a draft pick coming our way.

Yeah they would have to retain. He's also an equivalent to an Appelton so is he really needed for that many years.

JVR in a vacuum is pretty bad IMO. But if you put it on a sentence with " Jets got Niederreiter and JVR at the deadline" then its not quite as bad. Still hoping for better.

Can The Dude abide outside of time?

Melon officially twisted.

C'mon Chevy -- beat the buzzer and give your fans some joy without numpty-ing things up utterly...

It should Chevy with the added to bottom six before the season will probably be first in the division right now

It’s his fault was struggling for a wild card so he doesn’t pay some great stuff and boost out of sex it to a contender status right now it’s an epic fail

It’s always the next year mentality we got to save for the future mentality the future is always more important than trying to win the Stanley Cup

The trades across the league have been coming in at the hot and heavy pace of 1 every 2 hours, so we are now due again for another trade. Chevy its your turn...

I generally don't really pay that much attention until.an hour before the deadline. Nothing much happens until then.

Sexing your way to contender status might be frowned upon

Agreed. Historically most of Chevy's deals have come in at the last minute. I seen something on TSN earlier today, and I didn't catch the time period, but Chevy had the highest total of actual TD day trades on the list.
